One of Guy's first jobs after his short college stint, was being a Teller at The St. Louis Teacher's Credit Union. This was not good. His drawer was over after every shift. Guy would eventually leave due the job being so stressful. Guy got along with everyone, but the job was not fun. I was always thinking that if any money came up missing , I would get slammed and I was too little to go to jail.
Guy's resume was that Teller job at the Credit Union. He would first start as a stock room guy at Drug Emporium is St. Louis which was a cross between. a CVS and a small Target. Guy would be promoted to cashier and would get "Employee of the month several times for great customer service. When break. time came, Guy would be in the break room holding court and telling funny stories.
Guy went on to get a job at another department store and this time was a floor salesman and shelf stocker. Again he would earn several "Employee of the Month" awards and work there while holding down a full time job as well as a WIC Technician. Guy would bring his humor to the job and when he took his breaks everyone wanted wanted break too because Guy would be in the break room telling jokes and have everyone laughing .
Working a Sound Warehouse was fun. We sold Record, CD's , Cassettes and rented movies soon VHS. That was right up my alley. Fun Fun Fun. I love music and was well knowledgeable with Hip Hop, R & B and Jazz. I was also so good at little bit of Rock and movies. I loved that job. The staff and costumers were great. Guy was a favorite of the customers for his service and his knowledge of music.
For two summers right before college and summer after my first semester, I took a gig as the church handy man. I would dooo everything from cutting the grass to painting little places of chipped paint around the church, the rectory and the convent. It was great. I went at my own pace it allowed me to buy my first car. Whoo knew years later he would go on t book a sitcom named "Good News" where he played the handyman. won the show for the church the show was based off of.

He initially started in the accounting department verifying the cashed vouchers but was moved to the WIC sites when it was determined that he was a people person.
