One of my first jobs in LA was on the movie ZEBRA HEAD. I was a marking assistant that went around to college campuses and hold test screening. I would promote get students to come.
I did a few things to make money. One oof th easiest was to be an extra for Films, Television, and even music videos. I was an extra in the CELINE DION video "LOVE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS".
One of the most important jobs I had was a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT for the hit sitcom "MARTIN". In laymen's terms, a paid intern. I learned so much about the business. I recommend everyone start here
I did a few things on this show. I did a little punch up writing. I did audience warm up. It was a fun
set. It definitely made want to get into acting. It was here I first KOBE BRYANT. he came to the set to see BRANDY NORWOOD.
"MAD TV" was another stop on the journey to my destiny. I did audience warm up and got to see a different form of production, sketch comedy. This was a little easier than the other warm up gigs.
Before I started doing warm up and punch up writing, some of my other extra work gigs were oN "FAMILY MATTERS and "A DIFFERENT WORLD". It was surreal being on those sets because I was such a fan of them.
